HELLO AND WELCOME!

The 2014 North American Irish Dance Championships is an international Irish Dance competition hosted by the Irish Dance Teachers Association of Eastern Canada on behalf of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America and is recognized by An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha of Dublin, Ireland.

The event will take place at the Palais de Congres in Montréal, Canada between July 2 and 6, 2014 and will be preceded by a convention for registered IDTANA members at the Fairmont Hotel on July 1.

Your co-chairpersons Ryan Carroll ADCRG, Bernadette Short ADCRG and Kim Lancaster ADCRG look forward to welcoming you and working with you to make this a wonderful experience.

Venues:

July 1 – IDTANA member convention – Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel (Room: Marquette/Jolliet)

July 2,3,4,5,6 – NAIDC – Palais des Congrès de Montréal (Rooms: 517A, 517BC, 517D, 710A, 710B)

Airport:
Trudeau International (YUL)

Express Bus From Airport:
747 – Runs 24/7 – $9 fare one-way good for 24 hrs (pricing subject to change).

Taxi From Airport:
Plenty available – roughly $45 one-way (pricing subject to change).

Train Station:
Montréal Central Station – VIA RAIL – located underneath the Fairmont Hotel.

  1. The STM bus run by STM has a fare of $10 which takes you downtown. The ticket also gives you 24 hour pass on city buses and subway (the metro). Buy you tickets from an automated machine near the bus stop.
